The intention of the ABC brainstorm template is to be used with a broad topic to activate prior knowledge, to be used as a supplement to a reading as key words are pulled out, or to be used as a tracker with learning. Students will write a word or phrase starting with each letter of the alphabet and then complete a summary sentence after all (or most) letters are filled in.
